Really enjoyed my visit and talking to the super friendly staff! What a really cool place for local history. Was so glad they accepted the ship model I brought to them. Hope it continues to display and save the history of working ships, boats and men and women who worked the bay.

My grandfather was Job Taylor. I believe that he may have been a skipjack captain. I was wondering if you had any information about him being a crew member or the captain of a skipjack.
I haven't been in the area in a long time. My uncle Norman (Pete) lived on Cemetery Road until he passed away in 1967. I believe he started the Church Of God of Prophesy on Cemetery road.
I love the website and would love to come and visit. I have many fond memories of the area, except for the mosquitoes.
